Study courses in English
The Faculty V of the Hochschule Hannover offers exchange students speaking English a number of courses mainly in the field of Social Work.
The courses are taught predominantly in English. Some of the practical workshops are held both in English and in German. The main focus of these practical workshops is creativity and further development of individual possibilities by getting to know various materials and technics (mainly wood, soapstone, metal, clay).
The international courses are designed both for exchange and local students, so that international and German students would have the possibility to study together, exchange ideas, share experiences and learn from each other.
In addition, exchange students have the possibility to attend courses beyond their field of study: courses on intercultural competences, presentation and communication skills and language courses, as well as a study camp and a spring welcome week (orientation weeks) with an integrated intensive German course.
Please note that the course offer changes each semester
