XVIII International Summer School 2021 in Hannover

The XVIII International Summer School 2021 will be held virtually from 1 - 3 June 2021 under the title:

"Health promoting universities - setting-based approach and transfer to further areas of activity"

The Summer School on Health promotion and prevention is an annual academic event. It is organized for and by students and teachers from the network of six European universities and universities of applied sciences:

  • University of Balearic Islands, Spain
  • HoWest University college, Belgium
  • Poznan University of Medicial Sciences, Poland
  • Fontys University of Applied Sciences Tilburg, the Netherlands
  • Esslingen University of Applied Sciences, Germany
  • Hochschule Hannover, Germany

The XVIII International Summer School at the Hochschule Hannover will offer the opportunity to be part of the international scientific exchange on both cross-national and country-specific topics (health systems, health promotion and prevention, legal regulations, care structures and much more). New didactic concepts and scientific findings in the field of health promotion and prevention for health care professionals will be exchanged by students and teachers from different countries.

The XVIII. International Summer School will be hosted virtually from 1-3 June 2021 by the Department of Health Care of the Faculty V of Diaconic Studies, Health Care and Social Work of theHannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts.

Direction

You can reach the Blumhardtsraße (Campus Kleefeld, Faculty V) by public transport from Hannover Kröpcke. Either take tram line 4 (direction Roderbruch) or tram line 5 (direction Anderten) and get off at the stop "Nackenberg". The campus is located within about 5 minutes walking distance.

Alternatively, you can reach the campus by taking the  local trains (S-Bahn) lines S3, S6 and S7 from Hannover Main Station in the direction of Lehrte/Celle and get off at "Karl-Wiechert-Allee" stop. The stop is right behind the campus.
